Social involvement

Our story is one of social involvement. It originated from the wish of former resident of the estate, Charlotte van Beuningen, and has grown into the core of our organization.

Thanks to all our guests and the guests of EIGENTIJDSERF, we can support various goals annually via the Joannes Bosco Foundation. The foundation consciously chooses projects aimed at the development of young people in Brabant who could use 'a helping hand'.

What do we believe in

 The history of Landgoed Huize Bergen has many stories. The summer residence became a training centre that developed into a hotel. But above all, Landgoed Huize Bergen is and remains a meeting place. Contributing to unforgettable meetings, that is our passion. Always with an eye for detail, excellent quality and from our own authenticity.  Our efforts in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship have been rewarded with the gold level by the sustainability label Green Key. But we go one step further. We attach great importance to everything being right: healthy entrepreneurship, social employers, giving to our neighbours and nature and investing in working and living with a smile. All our shared ideals can be traced back to the core of what we love to do; creating the ideal environment to grow together.

Proceeds from the operation of EIGENTIJDSERF and Landgoed Huize Bergen benefit charitable causes through the Joannes Bosco Foundation.

The Joannes Bosco Foundation consciously chooses projects in Brabant that are focused on the development of young people in a less easy situation. With your help we have been able to support various charities, including: Stichting Move, Stichting Join Us, IMC Weekendschool, Stichting Leergeld, Playing for Success and NM Kamp Vught.
