Welcome to The Villa

You are in De Vestibule (the entrance hall) of Landgoed Huize Bergen. This used to be the entrance hall of the country house, the villa of Charlotte and Willem van Beuningen. Here the guests were received by the messenger of the house.

On both sides you see green marble wall cladding, and the floor has a green-white marble pattern. Actually, this hall is not the front of The Villa. So you actually enter through the back door. Nowadays, this is our entrance door where we welcome our guests first.
