Welcome to The Salon

You are in The Salon of The Villa on the Huize Bergen Estate. This space used to be a salon for receiving important guests. The most beautiful style rooms were at the front of The Villa, so that the residents and their guests could enjoy the view of the estate.

After the death of her mother, daughter Charlotte (1880) and her husband Willem van Beuningen (1873) moved into the house in 1927. The grandeur of that time, the homeliness, the style and the warm welcome are the core values that we stand for.

The silk wall covering and wainscoting were added in 2008 to bring back the former homely atmosphere. You are welcome to take a seat in De Salon for a cup of coffee and a snack.
