The Consultation Room

You are in the current Garderobe. In the past, this small room had a specific function. It was a multifunctional space for various communication and meeting purposes. It is likely that the messenger on duty would take a seat here to quickly address the arriving guests and visitors. The messenger would convey the guest's message to Willem or Charlotte.

Now a lift shaft is visible (specially equipped for disabled visitors), and in the 1950s the hotel's first reception was here. The coat racks are from 1955.
