The Yellow Guest Room (No. 9)

You are in the Yellow Guest Room (No. 9). This is the largest style room that we offer to our current guests in the country house. If you look closely at the parquet on the floor, you will see that there used to be another wall. Behind that wall was an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom walls were tiled with Delft blue tiles and white tiles. During the renovation of De Villa, the team came across parts of old wall coverings such as wallpaper. The yellow glow in this style room is partly due to the wall covering. An Italian silk was chosen; these 'tiled' fabrics are stretched on wooden frames. All curtains consist of three layers of fabric. In the past, this kept out the cold, now it is a nice bonus and we meet energy saving requirements.

The style room is very popular with bridal couples because it is a nice place for a wedding ceremony.
