The Botanical Greenhouses & The Orangery

 The 5 Botanical Greenhouses were not only full of cuttings from tropical places, but Alligator Piet also found his permanent residence there. Two gardeners kept the greenhouses in order; they were helped by an army of gardeners. Lotus flowers, pineapples, more than 1000 types of cacti, but also Charlotte's favorite flower, the orchid, bloomed beautifully in the simulated tropical climate. After the war, the greenhouses were lost. The Orangery, which was also lost during the war, was a beautiful building to behold.

The Orangery stood next to the greenhouses. If you turn towards the country house, the Orangery used to be on your left, and the greenhouses on your right.
